ERRE PRO offers a wide range of competences in this field, ranging from feasibility to design, from development to validation, followed by homologation within the main fields of application.

Our objective is to manage the Client’s requests, by solving all related issues and technological challenges and designing new solutions that will lead to success.

ADAS Systems (Advanced
Driver-Assistance Systems)

These systems represent the beginning of a revolution within the personal mobility industry. Our engineers support Customers in interpreting the new technologies available on this new and complex market with the goal of directing investments in the direction of the largest competitive advantage, cost, and industrial feasibility.

Among The Activities Carried Out There Are:

  • HMI – human machine interface
  • Project management and supplier management
  • Physical and electronic integration of onboard systems
  • Verification & validation, on a functional level, of the onboard systems, supported by the use of the most advanced hardware and software systems, including: AVL, Vector, D-Space, Siemens, IPG Car Maker, IPG Truck Maker, etc.
  • Support to quality and reliability departments, carried out by managing the open issues deriving from production end-of-line or from the current series on the market.

Technology Scouting

ERRE PRO believes in innovation and contributes to technology innovation from the inside. We cooperate with our Clients from the delicate technology scouting phase, by analysing the present and future offerings of the market, and subsequently collecting and editing the information needed to take informed decisions that will be successful in the long term. In a context where HW and SW innovations are continuous, the risk of premature obsolescence is always present. The development and writing of functional and technical specifications complete this phase of work.

The Electric & Electronic System

ERRE PRO is the ideal Partner to involve during the development of a traditional, hybrid, electric powertrain and of a new high voltage onboard electronic architecture (mild-hybrid). Following the Client’s processes and design rules, our engineers offer support during all phases of system development: from technology scouting to functional and technical requirements. These steps are followed by the system architecture and CAD design, supported by our project managers. Furthermore, we approach the Verification & Validation phase, hardware and software, by following all present norms (ISO26262, etc.)

System and software architecture

The development of a system and software architecture pivots around structural choices, once implemented very costly to change. These choices determine the system’s essential structure; therefore, they are the most important part of its design. ERRE PRO has a complete and specific know-how that is deployed during the whole “V” Cycle of development.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Modern systems are getting more and more “intelligent” and have acquired the capability of self-learning. These abilities, in technical terms, are called “Artificial Intelligence” and “Machine Learning”.

The “Artificial Intelligence” term is used when a machine imitates human intelligence within activities such as learning and problem solving. Machine Learning is composed by a class of algorithms that enable an automatic construction of analytical models, offering to computers the ability of learning without the need of explicit programming by utilizing the algorithms that learn continuously from the data available within the machine.

ERRE PRO offers specific know-how in regards of design and development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions.

Internet of Things (IoT)

The capillary diffusion of Internet has led us to the birth of Internet of Things.

IoT is a software and hardware structure that enables the interaction of “things” through the impulse of IT-led remote impulses: it enables more complex interactions and services, directly connecting the online action with our physical world, as for the distributed calculations and applications. ERRE PRO is actively developing architectures and applications based on the Internet of Things.

Industry 4.0

ERRE PRO supports Clients on the path of digitalization, helping them to select the most appropriate solutions for their real needs: from system design to execution, with a strong view the enabling processes. Starting from the specific interventions, such as hardware and software integration, up to the development of full MES systems (Manufacturing Execution System).

Industry 4.0 leads us to digitalization while keeping people in the center of focus, while executing the following steps:

  • Assessment: field researches, objective evaluation and accurate usability tests needed for pin pointing the processes and behaviours, in order to have the data to design effective solutions.
  • Visual Management: digital systems for the production and sharing of relevant information that virtualize and optimize the “lean booth”.
  • Advanced HMI’s: intuitive interfaces for human machine interaction.
  • Digital Twin: accurate digital reproductions of machinery, plants and technological products that enable real time monitoring, stored data analysis, planning, predictive or remote maintenance.
  • Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Reality: virtualizations with various levels of interaction, able to simulate even different solutions.

Big Data Management: data analysis and management in order to obtain continuous efficiency.

Mobile

ERRE PRO develops applications for mobile devices: starting from the Client’s needs analysis, the exploiting of an “user experience” study. Once detected, the project objectives are set and then shared and validated. With clear ideas, the technical development rolls out through the use of multi-platform web based technologies (HTML5, CSS e Java script), in need of integrating various operating systems. During the various phases of development, the HMI team (Human Machine Interface) works in parallel in order to validate each release from the user’s perspective, guaranteeing the overall result from both points of view: usability and attractiveness.
